The forums probably aren't the best place for adults to "air" out their problems with business oriented ventures.
I fully understand Tom's frustations with these things. Way back when I used to have a full time job AND build carburetors, it was difficult to get a lot of them completed, at least in a timely manner. Some days you just don't feel like putting in 8 hours at one job, plus a couple hours of commuting time in heavy traffic, then come home and jump all over a carburetor job.
We get a lot of emails and phone calls this time of year for carburetor status, this week alone we had at least 60 phone calls and nearly that many emails. Figure about 10 minutes per phone call and nearly that for a couple of emails back and forth, and we lost 1200 minutes out of the shop this week! That's at least 20 hours that I could have spent building a half dozen carbs or so!
If you have work here, we are getting to it as quickly as possible. We know the racing and car show season is here, and are working as quickly and efficiently as possible to get the work done.......Cliff
