That is one sweet little '64. I love these cars.

Clean it up and drive the wheels off it. Then put 'em back on and drive some more.

No power top on the Tempest Custom converts. I saw one in a classic car junkyard here and noticed these huge long springs in place of the power top hydraulic cylinders. Going to the boneyard is fun, whether you're scoring some parts (I bought the V8 frame mounts off that Tempest that day) or learning something new.
