66 Bonne: that's what I thought, but the motor mounts look different? I unbolted 1 long nut and bolt on each side of the 73. That bolt goes through a bushing, which is mounted on the sides of the block. I don't have the motor completely out yet, but it seems different than what ws on the 389. That motor (and those mounts) is gone, sold to fund the purchase of the 73.

I guess I'll get a good look once I get that last converter bolt out.

Stuart, thanks for the reply. I was hoping to use some of the new brake hardware on the old 65 rear brakes. They are weak. Excited about both going and stopping, since I just did a scarebird conversion on the front brakes.

PS: 66Bonne, your car has been an inspiration for a while now. Your strip numbers are my goal, we both know that about 235 wide tires is it for this chassis.
