Trust me I dont WANT to put a BBC in the car, Id love to build a big inch pontiac, but I simply cannot afford it.
My 65 GTO is a 462 tri-power
my 70 TA is a 455 HO
My 69 Firebird is a 406 single 4 barrell

So Trust me, id love nothing more then a big torquey poncho.
But my wallet will not allow at this time.

When It can, it will be a blown injected 540 inch poncho.
When you say,"Big block" without saying Chevy, you have just said Chevy.
The difference in my opinion between a Pontiac engine and a Chevy is the personality.
So, putting a Chevy engine into a Pontiac is to change its personality. Meaning a highhorsepower engine vs a torquey motor.

Its also like calling me a "soldier" and thinking Army and Marines are the same. We are not. I apologize for my digression.
