I wouldn't go up there in them mountains looking for trouble. That place is like West Virginia.
hadapontiac, just chalk it up brother. Who knows they might show up if you leave it alone.
In the mean time I would scrap all that aluminum drum stuff, it didn't work then and it doesn't work now.

I speak from my own experiences on my 64 Bonneville. I have the Scarebird disc brake set up and its makes such a fantastic difference over the aluminum drums. This also open up the world of new and vintage mag wheels to you.
A front disc conversion along with a Lee B body 12 to 1 box is all that car needs to blow these new cars into the weeds going around bends.
