In the mean time I would scrap all that aluminum drum stuff, it didn't work then and it doesn't work now.

I speak from my own experiences on my 64 Bonneville. I have the Scarebird disc brake set up and its makes such a fantastic difference over the aluminum drums. This also open up the world of new and vintage mag wheels to you.
A front disc conversion along with a Lee B body 12 to 1 box is all that car needs to blow these new cars into the weeds going around bends.

Jeff...do you just have the disc brake conversion on the front or on all four wheels. I am seriously considering this change on my 66 4dr hdtp this winter and was wondering if there really is much to gain by doing the back wheels or is the biggest bang for the buck in doing the front end?

P.S. About 20 years ago I lived within 10 miles of Unadilla! Unfortunately, I was not yet into collecting Pontiacs (or perhaps I should say fortunately!!) therefore I never knew Roger or anything about his business.
