Default I had the opposite experience.....

I ordered a set 17X8" standard steel wheels, was told I needed to send a 100% deposit and that it would take 6 weeks.

Making them up required that the 15" wheels centers be built-up with added material on the OD to mate up with the 17" rims. Not quite as simple as making up a set of 15" wheels, but certainly not a huge project either.

It took 6 months to get my wheels, and only after making phone calls to them every 2 weeks to prod them along. Nobody at Stockton Wheel ever called me to let me know how the wheels were progressing or as to why there was a delay. :confused:

They already had my money (sent them a check) so I was pretty much at their mercy.

I heard every excuse, the worst being they had a a hard time finding 4 15" GM centers that were close to the same. Give me a break.:rolleyes:

This was about 10 years ago, so things may have changed there.

Never again for me.:gag:
