To my knowledge there have only been 2 motors that made over 1,000 hp with a single 4 on a cast intake. Both of those intakes were ported by the same individual and cost in the ball park of 2k to port. Additionally, to achieve 1,000 hp, both of those motors required customized carbs that cost in the neighborhood of 1.5k-2k. I know I was being conservative with the heads.
