I put the '70 Executive discs on my 67 Catalina and it does fit nicely. I did it 7 years ago, and seem to remember changing ball joints at the same time. Not sure if I had too, but its a good idea to do so anyway.
Make sure you also get the Master cylinder and proportioning valve, as the brakes wont work right without them. As I learned.
