DiamondJim, In the September 15, 2006 issue of DRM (IHRA mag), there is a chart that gives a conversion of 1/4 mile to 1/8 mile gear ratios for maximum performance. It doesn't list 3.73s, but it does list 3.70, and it says the best replacement for the 1/8 would be 4.63. If I were you, I would go for the 4.56s or, if you want to press it, 4.88s.
