SDFormula, did you actually compare Tieman's paint with 62230? The reason I say is that it could be the variance in color in the pictures and memory that make it look like the darker blue is correct.
All I know is that, in my experience and opinion, having seen 62230 on cars at the same show with original cars, it is definitely too dark. And, when I've got a guy who owns 9 super dutys, including low mile originals, and had the color matched off of a 14000 mile valve cover and a 1 week old intake, I tend to lend quite a bit of credibility to his opinion in color.

My comments were reguarding the three engine paint colors you displayed earlier in this thread. Taking into account the various ways that colors can change when reproduced via computers, the one on the left (62230) looked, to me, to be the closest to what I have. I have not compared the Tieman paint to any other paints, only an original paint engine. I would be happy to send you a sample of the actual paint color dabbed onto a piece of paper.
