Some of your frustration is because you are cloning a very rare car. I suggest another part of it is the nature of this business. I'll agree that very few suppliers are going to stock the shelves full of 69 Trans Am parts. We do have to draw the line somewhere. No supplier in this arena will ever be WalMart or Home Depot ;)

I didn't MEAN this to be an attack on PY. You did come through several times in the past...I am glad that you stock most of the parts people need. But it is a standard for most other places. Even the chainstores.
It seems the number of people restoring old cars has drastically reduced in my area. This along with the crappy economy has killed the "joy" of this "hobby".
