I had a stock holden 6 speed shifter in my car , and wanted to upgrade to the new GTO stitched leather shifter !
so i pulled the old one off ( with great difficulty ) , only to find that the new shaft made the knob face at 10 oclock ...
, so took it off again and checked against the standard shaft , and yep ! the slot was offset 30 degrees ... sheesh
so i put the new satin knob on the old shaft ( which is about an inch shorter ) and it fit perfectly !
