I find it odd it takes him 14 hours to pull and reinstall a moter so thoes numbers seem a little padded to me, well alot really.I fail to see how you can add up numbers like that owning a car like this as a hobby and your time spend on the car is free. You are saying if you go wax your car for $45.00 time and material included and a bird craps on it it would be another $45.00 out of your pocket.
I have a canton pan on my GTO had it has never leaked a drop.
