Ive used a parts-place valance due to I wanted to save my original from a hit since I drive the car.
It did take some modifications but I didnt feel it was that bad. We even did it on another friends car and put his perfect original on the wall of his garage.
Ive offered him a thousand dollars for that valance but it still hangs on his wall(collecting dust). Those originals in perfect shape are a really fine and expect to pay top dollar (but do it if you can cause there worth it).
