Yes, he was running the 1969 Ram Air IV. I had heard that the track weather was at sea level conditions during the race. I went back and found the weather at VMP and even thought the track weather was good, track altitude turned out to be 760ftASL which is even more impressive runs.
The track was really sticky for the 60ft times but impressive none the less. If Bruno or Jim gets on this post I would love to know their 60fts.
