Thanks. Yah - we made the last minute decision to run on Sunday to avoid a possible rainy day on Saturday. The weather was perfect. I ran a best of 11.26 @ 120 mph with a 1.56 60 ft. It's the fastest car I have ever been in. I'm still experiencing an electrical issue. The engine breaks down / or miss fires in the higher RPMs.

I don't think it's carburetor. My Dominator has # 88 jets and I put the power valves back in. Timing is at 14 and 33. I grounded the MSD box to the head (instead of the firewall). By grounding it this way it did make an improvement. The car starts easier and seems to have a smooth 900-3,000 rpm band. Since this car was a complete rotisserie/full restoration... I think I need to chase all the grounds. Most things where painted - but I did sand clean spots for grounding. I think I need to re-look at what I'm grounding to. Another thought is swap out each electrical part one at a time to see if there is a cracked distributor cap, back spark plug wire, etc. The engine just runs rough / missing... I'm frustrated to say the least.

On the positive side - I learned a lot Sunday and learning my car. The car is pretty mellow doing a 1.56 at the 60 and hitting 120 mph thru the traps. Very straight and smooth. I ran my 28x12.5s MT ET Streets at 14 psi. I haven’t put on my Cal Traks yet either. My shocks are just some old worn out shocks I found! Once I can get this engine stumbling issue resolved I'm looking for 10s.
