I think the guy who had it before me did some fabrication. I know I can get SOMEthing to work but I want it to look as stock as possible from the outside. The previous bulb was too big and started to slightly melt the lens. Fortunately you can't see it unless you really look for it. I can't believe that GM would use a weird, non-standard bulb but I've looked a bit and can't seem to find anything.
Mine is definitely manually switched. I think I might rewire it to come on when the doors open. That way it might actually get used.
