a friend of mine was building a nice 350 for his 57 chevy(at least it wasn't a camaro).when he was done,he was so happy"it should have about 425 hp and 400 ft lbs torque".i quietly told him my stock 455 had 500 ft lbs torqure and just smiled.
i know a guy that thermo coated the inside of the ports,it helped but they still burnt off.coat the inside and powder coat the outside and cross your fingers.
