DJ is most definitely THE 455HO builder/tuner. Great numbers!
My Formula engine - 4.200" bore (467 CID) - made 430 CBHP @ 5100 and 530 CBTQ @ 3000, through the SD Q-Jet, OEM SD exhaust manifolds and 2.25" extension pipes. No air cleaner.
But - it wouldn't pass PSD muster as the heads are extensively reworked, 9.98:1 compression, 232/235 @ .050" solid lifter cam, etc. It is a torque monster though, and an absolute BLAST to drive.
It chassis dynoed at only 299 CBHP @ 5300 due to the extremely restrictive single transverse muffler exhaust system however. If I EVER get off of my a$$ and install the new 2.5" PYPES transverse system it SHOULD pick up a bunch.
Mike - that HO engine is for your T-37, correct?
