Porting a Holley Street Dominator Intake
I have decided to use a Holley Street Dominator intake on my 455. Aside from gasket matching, does any porting work need to be done to the intake before bolting it on the engine? The plenum gets smaller just under the carburator flange and then enlarges to the runners. The first inch or so down into the plenum is almost a hour glass shape. Will opening the plenum help or hurt performance? Anyone have pictures of a modified intake? Thanks......Harddecisions
