I tow a 24' Haulmark enclosed trailor(Flat nose) with an 04' Suburban. Occasionally I can hear the Burb's back lift glass sucking air... Usually at highway speed. I have considered buying a temp wind deflector for the Burb's roof to help with this and improve gas mileage a bit. So far it is getting 11.5 mpg which I hear is fairly decent already.

The sucking sound is not constant for me but I can see how it could suck your cap glass up if it is not completely secure. For what it's worth the wind deflectors run in the $ 200.00 range for a decent one. I am sure it would pay for itself with gas savings in a summer.

Good luck,
