I am wondering why it has an upper vaccuum nipple on the top rear of the air horn. Anyone ever see this before? My 2071 July 71 dated carb does not have this. |
I have a nice unmolested original 270 (Nov 71 build) that doesn't have that vaccum nipple,but checked a few other 72 Pontiac(garden variety) carbs and they DO have it.
Perhaps the one on Ebay had the air horn changed out with a later/different one?
(The rebuilders tend to swap out alot of parts)
