Wish I knew someone that could stamp these things but since there is two pieces of steel on each other there is no support behind to accomplish that (that I know of)?

It would be a big job to replace the core support on a completed car but I would be interested if anyone had a June date stamped piece.

Brew, I just took a look at my best looking core support (it is off the car now). I don't know where or if, your core support is stamped. Is it part# 493474 & no date code, or nothing at all? Mine is stamped on the top drivers side & the top of the part# is 15/16" from the front edge of the support, with the date stamping below it (closer to the engine). The date stamping is, 1 1/4" inch from the same edge. The start of the part# (the 4) is 2 13/16" from the first drilled mounting hole that is to the right, on the front edge of the support. The numbers are up side down if you are looking at the support from in front of the car. I don't know if there was any GM spec. on where these number should be stamped. However, it appears that if YOU were stamping in this location there would be enough "double metal" to allow some support from the underside to be able to stamp it. There is from 2 1/8" to 2 1/2" of double metal at this location, & the thickness of the two spot welded pieces is about 3/32" (including powdercoat) with no variation from the edge to the depht I mentioned above.
