Thank you, too many birds, I appreciate the quick response. Somewhere along the line the thermostat housing must have been changed to the cast iron one, luckily I have an aluminun one in good condition. The water pump studs are an easy fix. I'm hoping the shop where I'm taking the engine will have a suitable intake manifold gasket. I got the proper color engine paint from Scott Tieman a while back. Could you clarify what you mean by "in the above referenced post"? I'm not seeing that on your post. Thanks again. There will be more questions soon.
