The differance
64-63 is a little easier then 63 to 64. the seats should be the same and the console is the same, Dash is differant only on the top chrome piece the bottom of the dash is the same. the dash pad is year compliant too. the differance in the front end is that the 63 uses a hook hinge that bolts to the firewall and the fenders go around this. the 64s have a hood hinge that bolts to the fenders and the fenders bolt to the firewall. will they fit, Yes but the bottom hood hinge will not have a bolt hole on a 63 to 64. from 64 to 63 there is no problem as the bottom hole of the hinge isn't used.
what I did was I put a 64 GP front end on my Catalina wagon and changed the dash for the guages, center console was installed and the inner seat brackets were welded into place. then the shifting hardware was made to fit a T-400, it was bolted up to a 455 and all the stock mounting for the accessories were installed, the GP steering column was installed and a 2nd gen T/A steering wheel was installed, then the wiring was made to fit the console, and 63 lighting harness as the 64 has a bolt in fuse block through the fire wall and the 63 has the wires coming through a firewall boot to under the hood. you need complete front groups as the radiator supports are differant but the bolting locations are the same, the inner fender bolting is the same to the frame and the fender will bolt to the door sill in the same locations. The body line is good to go also.
other then all that, IT'S EASY.......
