X fillers are metal filler panels that close up the gap between your front bumper area to the top of the radiator....they are stamped with an X looking stamping...

the lower valace filler is a flat piece with a short L, that fits under that same area at the bottom ,also to close off the air , making it go THRU the radiator , not being able to go around...you`ll also have some 'masticated' or rubber fillers at ea end at the bottom of the radiator...those three items were on 400`s AND A/C cars
