Stuart, I could never get the battery to recharge enough for a restart after a weekend of crusing. I don't drive the highway very often. Generally, I just cruse up and down PCH. So, it was my assumption that at low RPM's the generator wasn't recharging the battery, Just producing enough power to run the car and stereo. Although the stereo is aftermarket with an amp and a speaker box. The problem has gone away unless i don't drive the car for 3 to 4 weeks of which i believe is a short in a window motor....Some day i'll fix that also. Dropped the drive shaft two weeks ago. So, i need to fix that first.
