I removed the windshield Friday. I found the best way to do it. As gently as you can, pick up a large hammer and give it one good whack! That way you don't have to worry about breaking it! I have some minor rust in the windshield channel. Haven't decided whether to repair or replace the lower section.
I also worked on the tail panel stripping paint. This is the slowdown phase of the project. Income tax time plus car insurance plus some medical bills for the wife have cut into the budget.
We start a new house next Wednesday so I should be back on track in a few weeks.
I also bought a power steering bracket from a PYer. Five hours labor brings the total up to 129 1/2 hours = $2590
Parts + $25 = $4103.87
Total = $6693.87
