I know the question was relasted to high end race motors but I have to give a plug for Contental. I got a 10" continental from Chris years ago, back then it was street strip use. Over 13 years later I am still running the same converter running 10.50's in my 3550lb 65 LeMans. Sent it back once about 5 years ago to get it loosened up as I upgraded my performance combo. Now stalls at 4400 and the car 60's very consitently in the low 1.4's foot braking. I did run it one full season using a brake but went back to foot braking because I couldn't cut a light with the brake. I couldn't tell you how many 100's of trips this converter has gone down the 1/4 mile. Just my .02.
