On a '61 Bonneville. The car is only about 20 feet long.

Exhaust system is from RARE. Factory cast headers with 3" collectors into down pipes, 3" oval with x-over back to 3" mufflers, reduced to 2.5" over axle and out back. Currently, there is just one tail bracket on psgr side, inside the frame rail but is tweaked and needs replacement. Mufflers came with universal clamps.

I have not hung an exhaust before. All I really know is start from the back -> fwd, have a couple Q's:

- Are the main mounting points for exhaust:
-tailpipe brackets off of frame
-front & rear of mufflers with universal clamps attached to body pan
-downpipes bolted to manifolds with flanges
-are there any hanging points between muffler clamps & manifold flanges?
- Should there be anything between metal muffler clamps & body pan to reduce noise?
- Where can I get bracket(s) for the tailpipes to bolt to frame? Should these have any noise insulators?
- How far behind the front u-joint on driveshaft should the front of the X on the x-over be?
- Should every slip joint be welded entirely around (tack first then drop for the full weld?), and should the manifold flange get a sealer of some kind?
- Any other tips for the install?
