Actually, most exhaust systems only mount in two places, well three if you count the manifolds. The rubber mounts hold the tailpipes somewhere toward the rear of the frame rails-you should be able to find the bolt holes even if the original hangers are long gone. The other place is at the rear of the muffler. The hanger should mount to the front side of the crossmember that forms the upper spring bucket. Do not hang exhaust anywhere from the body as this will transmit vibration and resonance into the intereior of the car.
