I bought a 65 GTO with a T/A box and found the radius limited on one side (turning left I think) because the top plates are different thickness, allowing the worm gear to travel further/less. Something inside - a c-clip I think - needs to be removed to allow the extra travel in the other direction.
Who knew?
I'll be interested to hear how the new box works out.
