They can be hopped up just like their big brother 5.9. Pumps, injectors, turbo...I'd get a P-pumped engine if you're looking for power. You can get 350hp/500 lb/ft pretty easily from what I understand.
I was going to put one in my FJ40 until I got a steal on an LT1.

I was going to find an aluminum step van, take the 4BT and cut the body up for scrap and try and break even.
