This debate just got good here in the last couple of post's with everyone finally relating weight to power. Yes low 7 second passes are impressive even at 1800 lbs , but low sevens are even more impressive at 2300 lbs. NHRA prostocks are some of the fastest normally aspirated cars in the world with 500 cu. in. and weigh 2350. Us old traditional Pontiac die hards are gaining on the latest most advanced engines in NHRA history and we are doing it with basically 30 + year old technology. To me,that is way COOL.

Since we are talking about making power here - I take it from your coments that you have a 500 cfm port - that is based on the tiger head -- so where is it ?? whats the deal ? - and at 500 cfm - over 540 cid that is the normal max available for us -- it would seem that we would need to be near pro stock rpm to make it really "work" Inquiring minds want to know ?
