The primary motivation for the 4.500 stroke is that we own (3) good 4.500 cranks and we have been assured by our experienced nitro advisors that a blown nitro engine will not care much about B/S and R/S ratios. The 4.500 stroke will spin happily to 8000 rpm in our nitrous engine and we may not need to wind the nitro combnation that tight.
Our claim to the Pontiac heritage is retention of stock bore spacing, head bolt pattern and valve cover pattern.
Should be an incredible ride...........it can't be done soon enough.
