Mice like rats run along the walls so I put a few on the glue traps with chesse in the middle or in a postion where they'll have to walk in the glue to get it in a couple of spots along the walls in my barn and have found a few of the traps in other places in the barn some with mice some w/out but I have never had a mice in my car.

Agreed. I've used the Decon brand, triangular-shaped mouse poison along the edge of the garage walls & have had good luck. Apparently, the mice eat the poison, then get dehydrated, seek water, then die when they can't find any. I found a dead one in a container of old antifreeze that was on the garage floor one time. You can see when some of the poison is missing from the trap...
