I agree Skip. I believe the guy(428 Bird) is just a hobbiest that has never had an aftermarket block before. This is not a shot at him in anyway. Having never had a race block I can see where he would have some questions about his finds. 428Bird, I'm sure you will be very happy with your new block and I hope the professionals (Mr-Pbody and P-Dude ) helped clear up some of your questions. On a side note, the "New" MR-1 (as Listed on their web sight) has proven itself in cars like GTOGeorges and Brad Smulands. Everyone (self included) jumps on the past issues but forgets it is a new product made in a different foundry with some major changes for the better.
