agreed on the terms for sure!!

i thought about this, locking it out and using a start retard, but the thing i was trying to experiment/test with was having 49 plus degrees for cruising, and not the locked 34 or so full time, i basically have that now. does that make sense? plus i didn't want all that timing at idle for now. it may not make a darn bit of difference, my adding timing at cruise, as to what i have now, so you might have a point. this might be a bunch of thought and time for no gain. but, if it works, then it is something i have not seen a lot of blower guys do, and would be a nice thing to pull off if it does have an affect on mileage. my deal was, i want to be able to hammer it at any point, have my 'normal' mechanical advance, but at any given point of part throttle cruising,( a lot, i drive this thing in the city/on the highway all the time....) is to try to have the advantage that N.A. cars have with advanced timing to account for the partial filling of the chambers at part throttle.....

who knows. might just be a bunch of 'me and my brain spinning in circles' for a simple answer. (wouldn't be the first, won't be the last!!) but, how i see it, it's all for the experimenting sakes of it, just like everything else i've done on this project, some productive, some not so bright.

but, in the end, it's all in the name of hotroddin', learnin', sharin', and havin' some fun doin' it, and i am.................

thanks for the words folks, i am stabbing that pig back in today, so expect a full report with pics later today/tomorrow................
