We own a 2007 Freestyle.
Love the car. Nice interior. We have all options except heated seats. Just 12K miles on it, so not sure about how it will hold up. We bought the extended warranty, as it has paid off on past cars we have owned.
In '08, it became the Taurus X, but looks the same.
We are very happy. The CVT is a trip. You keep waiting for it to shift, but it just ramps up and keeps pulling. Power is decent for a larger car. The fold down seats are great for changing demands inside. We have got as good as 25mpg on a long trip. Stays around 16 in daily driving. I expected better, but it works for us. The power moon roof is cool. Controls in the steering are handy. 6 cd changer in the dash is convenient. I wish we had satellite radio, but may add it later.
