HP=the amount of energy expended to lift 150 lbs 220 ft in one minute.Power=torque X2pi(3.14)Xrotational speed.Torque is NOT a measure of POWER?Ha Ha Ha!What does it measure then?Go ride a Harley-Davidson around the block, let the clutch out a couple of times at 2000-2500 rpm,(torque monsters, even when stock)then jump on any high revving jap bike and let the clutch out at the same rpm.Even you will now become aware of the difference between HP and torque, and why ahigh torque motor could be alot of fun in a street car.Besides,I thought all the high-horsepower,low torque crap was for the small-block chevy guys?
