My first car was a '67 Camaro 327, 3 spd car. I bought it in 1971 for $300. It was pretty rusty so I turned it into a rat rod 35 years before they were popular. Dismantled and sold off the parts in 1980.

I love it Tom! It looks like something one of my uncles or one of their buddies would have had when I was a kid. I can't tell you how many times I was clinging for dear life to some interior part on a car something like that one with my dad, uncle, step brother or one of their buddies driving. My love for hot rods grew out of cars like that whether it was a Ford, Chevy, Dodge, etc. it’s all the same flavor! Sure brings back some fond childhood memories of clinging to the dash and listening to Molly Hatchet or BTO blaring on the 8-track while my step brother was token on a number and sliding sideways up to our bus stop to drop me off in his ‘68 Charger. If my mom had known I don’t think half my male relatives or my dad for that matter would have lived long!!
