As far as the project, I think an LS1 in a '70 is waaayyy cool. I have thought about building one for years! You have to bring it to the TA Nats when done.

C-Doggy, those pics are deja-vu, mine had the same brazed metal over rusty original metal patches in the same places. Your patches match what i did to mine ten years ago to a "T."
