I've run 150 shot on my n/a 435 rwhp 67 convertible at the track for years with no issues to the body. I've broken 2 rear axles, a TKO manual trans and ripped the perches off a Moser 9" but have never hurt the body. Doors still close like a new car. I have welded subframe connectors and CalTracs, but no roll bar or cage. The Pontiac ragtops are much tougher than you would expect. By comparison, my 88 Mustang GT was a flexing POS with just a stock 5.0 and slicks. I'll eventually get a 5 or 6 point bar of some kind.
