You should see mid 20's with an LS swap. The Bird will also likely be a bit lighter than 3700 pounds with the TDI or LS. I know guys are making real good power out of those 4 bangers in the new Cobalts SS's. The turbo'd ones, not the supercharged ones. Exhaust and tune away from 300WHP.
My vote is for LS swap, even if its a 5.3.
