I'm at work now and not in front of a wheel, but there should be another number there, I think.

To one side of the valve stem you will observe a stamp that will appear like "M19" with the "9" below the "1". The "9" indicates the year 1969, a "0" would be 1970, etc. Between this stamp and the valve stem will be another number from "1" to "12" which will designate the month. On the other side of the valve stem will be a number between "1" and "31" designating the day, and beside that will be the wheel code "KR" or whatever code the wheel actually is.

Thing is, my cars build date is 0 9A, so I'm not really sure what date wheels are appropriate for my car. My engine and dated parts on it were made in July to mid August 1970.

Should the wheels be in that same time frame, or earlier, or much earlier? Hoping you guys can share some light on the subject. Thanks Eddie.

Your car sounds like it was built about the same time as mine (0 9B for my Norwood) and mine had the KN 7/28/70 wheels from the look of it. But, I'd think any wheel with a date no more than about 6 months before your build date would be OK. I'd avoid anything after your build date, which I think speaks for itself.

That is correct. It's a 14" center mated to a 15" rim. Not sure if all KRs up through 1973 did look the same, but I believe so.
