All the original intact early '71 Norwood cars, I've personally examined have had KN's. There may exist an extremely early production '71 Norwood car which had JW's, but have yet to document one. If the project was mine & it was destined to be a cutting edge concours resto, I'd search out a set of 7/27 or 7/28 KN's & an nos set of trim rings. Short of that level of resto, repro trim rings hide the stamped dates fairly well.


BTW, my '71 HO T-37 has the 8/13/70 intake & 483637 casting block. The T was built late Dec of '70.
