I think subframe connectors are always a good idea. Helps to stiffen the car.
As far as wheel hop though, I don't think that the connectors are going to prevent the wheel hop 100%.
Best thing for that issue is some type of traction bar. They keep the rear from twisting.
IMO, the best on the market are Caltracs.

However, a set of old school traction bars that also replace the bottom shock plate will cure the wheel hop issue.
