Very cool connection Mike! How cool is it that both of those cars wound up in Atlanta? The owner of the shop that did the restoration (Jerry Burge - Atlanta Rod Shop - Doraville, GA) told me back in August that it was a numbers matching car, but based on the ad posted in Hemmings back when you were looking at it - it was a NOM car? Sounds like somewhere between then and when Jerry got it, somebody restamped something?? Jerry told me that the car is owned by a guy who owns the business next to his restoration shop - I don't know his name.

Thanks for sharing your side of the story - very cool. (By the way, the phone number in that Ad in Hemmings is the same one that I traced down to the Texas owner I was able to contact on my car - very neat!)
