Cleaned up and painted the engine bay. Still have more to do with it but the most difficult part is done. Also got started on the shifter. Positioned the shifter where it felt right, then welded some nuts to the floor and secured it with some shortened bolts. Borrowed a large holesaw and drilled a hole in the sheetmetal for the cable to go through.
